POSITION Fine Art Installation

POSITION Fine Art Installation  was established by Allan McIntosh, B.E.S., AOCA, in 2005. 

For the past 18 years I have specialized in installing visual art in notable residential, commercial and institutional properties throughout Ontario.  As a designer and cabinetmaker I have extensive experience in designing, creating and installing interior and furniture designs for a fine clientele locally and internationally.  This includes many years in Japan as Designer Director at E Design Co. Ltd., a prominent interior design firm to the foremost households and residential property developers.  

I specialized in Furniture and Interior Architecture while enrolled in the Environmental Design Programme at the Ontario College of Art, where I received multiple scholarship awards.  I am also an alumnus of the Faculty of Environmental Studies - University of Waterloo.

SCOPE OF WORK

I offer white glove treatment with attention to detail and spatial relationship to ensure that your cherished art work will be installed for optimum enjoyment.  You will receive my personal, professional attention, for your home or business to install or hang with accuracy and efficiency:

• pictures - arranged salon style or in accurately spaced groups or arrays

• photography

• mirrors

• sculptural work

• artifacts including airplane propellers, antique and found objects

• tapestries, animal pelts and wall hangings

• artwork in public spaces requiring security hardware

• packing and delivery

Residential clientele in the Greater Toronto Area include:  Forest Hill, Rosedale, Bayview Avenue and Bridle Path, the Kinsgway, Bloor Street and Yorkville, High Park and the surrounding areas of Oakville, Burlington, and Markham.

Residential clientele in Central Ontario include Picton, Prince Edward County, Port Hope, Coburg, Belleville and Kingston.

​

Clientele in professional offices include legal and financial services in the Bay Street - Bloor Street corridor, institutions including the University of Toronto and University of Ottawa and high end luxury retirement residences.
